Our History

Since its inception, Seeds of Hope International Ministries(SOHIM) has always dedicated itself to instilling HOPE, one person at a time…

What started as a “home School” cooperative in 2004, quickly evolved into what would later become known as, the International Christian School of Tonga(ICST). Made up of students from eight different countries around the globe, socioeconomic backgrounds ranging from the poorest of the poor to members of Tongan royalty, this learning opportunity in excellence created a community experience like no other.

Seeds of Hope International Ministries(SOHIM) was initially founded in 2007 as a Religious Nonprofit organization, to be the sponsoring agent for the International Christian School of Tonga(ICST) in the Kingdom of Tonga, South Pacific.

SOHIM was later granted 501(c)(3) status to receive charitable donations on behalf of the International Christian School of Tonga(ICST).

In 2007, Seeds of Hope International Ministries(SOHIM) was also established as a Charitable Trust Corporation in the Kingdom of Tonga, South Pacific.

Of recent years, there have been countless collaborations with other nonprofit organizations as well as civic entities, like the City of Surprise in Arizona, USA and the Surprise Community Outreach Program(SCOP) Grant. These collaborative relationships have enabled Seeds of Hope International Ministries(SOHIM) to operate in its broadest capacity.
